Dry hair occurs mainly due to heat, the use of excessive chemicals applied on your hair and also by not taking good care of your hair. Every person’s hair has a certain amount of moisture which preserves your hair and does not let it dry. When certain level of moisture goes down due to many of the common reasons then you have to take special efforts to maintain that moisture. One should keep in mind that excess experiments with your hair can cause problems and lead to dry hair.

Some of the common reason why many face this problem is the excessive washing of your hair. Your hair need not be washed daily as this washes out the nutrients from your hair leaving you ‘high and dry’. So washing is not an appropriate solution for your hair on a daily basis. Use of hot dryers, hot curlers or any of the things you use for stylizing your hair also leads to drying. Swimming in chlorinated water without a head cap makes your hair parched and even drier. By using some of the home based recipes you can make your last longer with a better look.

The use of mild shampoo is one of the initial steps to be taken when you are treating dry hair. Look for shampoos mentioned as ‘dry and damaged’ which would work in your favor. The use of conditioner is a must as this helps in preserving the lost nutrients and oil in your hair. This would give a beautiful look to your hair with the extra shine and bounce. Snipping off the end of your hair would help in preventing further damage to your hair. Exposure to sun can also cause dryness. You can use hair sunscreen to protect your hair.

Use of some of the home made ingredients if properly blended can be very helpful. Beer seems to work wonders on your hair. You can spray your hair with beer once you have shampooed your hair. Mayonnaise is also a wonderful ingredient which brings life back to your hair as it is termed as an excellent conditioner.

Kevin Pederson has been managing number of sites related to hair and skin care which provides information on Natural Cure for Dry Hair by using some basic home care treatments for soft and smooth hair.

There is a buzz phrase circulating throughout the hair and skin care industry, and it has nothing to do with the latest beauty craze coming out of Hollywood. However, it does have something to do with Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears and P-Diddy. What’s the connection? Everyone wants their own hair or skin care line.

It’s called Private Labeling. What is Private Labeling? It’s simply having a manufacturer create products for you that you can brand yourself. From high end salons and spas to small country stores, private labeling offers merchants the opportunity to shape a beauty line and put their brand name on it. It’s a very creative process that enables you to have a signature product line.

And now you want in on it. That could be a very profitable move on your part, but you’ll need to put your ducks in a row. Let’s focus on one of those now.

Artwork.

I speak to people on a daily basis about setting up their hair care and/or skin care line of products for their beauty salon and spas via our company, Pure Wholesale. We discuss their options - hair or skin care first? A signature shampoo and conditioner for a salon? It’s all very exciting to be a part of someone else’s dreams and knowing that you are contributing. But there is one factor that seems to dominate when it comes to important steps that have been glossed over in one’s pursuit of beauty dominance. The logo. There’s not one.

Why is this? From my experience, most people just get so caught up in the excitement of the idea of their new venture that they forget that the appearance of their products is crucial when trying to get a prospective buyer’s attention. The good news is that getting a professionally created logo is not that difficult to manage - and it’s very affordable thanks to the internet and the many graphic design freelancers that live in cyberland.

To find a graphic design artist, just peruse the “freelancer” sites that seem to be everywhere. One site that I just had some success with is GetAFreelancer.com. The idea of using this site is simple. You sign up as a Service Buyer. Then you post a project with a selected budget that you can afford. Budgeting is based on tiers. For instance, the first tier, I believe, is $30 to $100. Once you select a budget, you then post a project. In this, you will explain what it is you are trying to get accomplished. It is very important that you explain (in detail) what you are looking for.

Example: “I need a logo for a men’s hair care line called ‘Zeus”. I’m looking for something masculine that men won’t be afraid to buy. Nothing frilly. Something elegant would be nice, as the price range is in the medium-to-expensive range.

Further, I need it in a vector format, preferable Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file, but an .eps will do. Artwork must be in layers so that it can be manipulated to fit different sized products.”

I included the second paragraph because we (at Pure Wholesale) ask for that specific type of file when receiving artwork from private label clients. Of course, you could also have your new, best friend designer help you with your entire line. I actually got an incredible logo for $100 on my last project. She (the designer) did such a great job that I will absolutely use her again.

So good luck with your domination of the beauty industry - just don’t overlook the image that will garner you all that well deserved attention.

You spoil your pooch as close to rotten as you can get, don’t you? Hey, who doesn’t? It’s almost impossible not to, with those adorable, big, beautiful eyes, the little lashes, the soft fur just behind the ears they almost beg to be spoiled. But what can you really do? There are all of those new doggie day spas, doggie day cares, and other doggie luxury services, but how often can you really afford things like that? I mean, most people rarely have enough cash in the bank to get themselves a surprise manicure and pedicure, much less spring for their pups to get a quadripedicure. You give her a few scratches behind the ears, rub her belly, and maybe give her a massage and splurge on some gourmet treats, but you have to pay rent and eat each month. Your budget just doesn’t allow for constant spoiling of your dog

1. Or does it?

You can make the shampoos, fragrances, and skin conditioners the doggie day spas use whenever you want for a lot less money than you think. Wouldn’t your pup love to have an at-home spa treatment? Give these recipes a shot the next time you want to pamper that pup:

2. Aromatic Dry Shampoo

250 ml (1 cup) cornmeal
250 ml (1 cup) baby/talcum powder
5 ml (1 tsp) rosemary
5 ml (1 tsp) lavender

Combine all of the ingredients in a large, airtight container and let them sit overnight. This will allow the rosemary and lavender to scent the other two ingredients lightly. When ready, sprinkle generously over your dog and brush it into her fur by working your fingers against the lay of her coat. Once it’s worked in thoroughly, use your fingers or a hard rubber brush to massage her coat in the direction of the fur but working in circles. Brush until the mixture is completely out of the coat. Your baby will smell great, the powder and cornmeal help absorb excess oil and dirt to clean her, and she won’t have had to go through the trauma of having a full bath! How great is that?

3. Herbal Shampoo

470 ml (2 cups) purified water
10 ml (1 tbsp) rosemary
10 ml (1 tbsp) orange zest
30 ml (2 tbsp) chamomile
10 ml (1 tbsp) lavender oil
120 ml (1/2 cup) baby shampoo

Bring water to a boil, then remove from heat. Add all of the herbs, cover the dish, and allow it to steep overnight. Strain the mixture and stir in the oils, then gently add the shampoo until well-mixed. This shampoo should be kept refrigerated for freshness when not in use, but use about 2 tablespoons every time you wash your dog for a sweet-smelling, great treat for both of you. Don’t forget to give her a little massage while you’re rubbing it in!

4. Lemon Flea Dip

3 lemons
940 ml (1 quart) water
60 ml (1/4 cup) baking soda
5 ml (1 tsp) herbal shampoo

Cut the lemons into eighths while bringing the water to a rolling boil. Add the lemons, boil for one hour, then cover and let the mixture steep overnight. Strain the solution then add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Warm to a tepid temperature before applying. To spoil your pup with the application, dip a sponge into the water and drizzle it slowly over her coat, then use your fingers to work it in using slow, deliberate circles focusing on points like the hips and shoulders. Give her a good massage - she deserves it! This shampoo uses citrus oil to help repel fleas, but the warm water and baking soda also help to soothe any existing irritations she may have.

See? Spoiling your dog is much easier and less expensive than you think, and I’ve compiled 101 Ways to Spoil Your Dog for Under $10 for just that reason. Any dog owner knows how hard it is to resist spoiling their pup, and now there’s no reason to resist! Spoiling her can be as easy as talking to her you just might not realize the impact simple things have on her. Give the book a read, then try some of the ideas you’ll find. You’ll be amazed at how much closer and more bonded with your dog you feel!

Do you know that dandruff affects about 70% of the American
population? Do you know that they spend $300,000,000 trying
to get rid of it?

Dandruff is the most widespread problem of the scalp! But you
must understand that it is not contagious and it is not a disease! Dandruff can not threaten your life, but it often threatens your mental peace.

Shedding of skin is a natural phenomenon. The skin of your scalp
replenishes every month. The dead cells that previously formed your scalp now make up the dandruff.

The presence of negligible dandruff is inevitable. The problem arises only when the presence of dead cells in the form of flakes suddenly increases.

Physicians still debate what causes dandruff. Many researchers
believe that it results from excessive growth of the yeast
Pityrosporum Ovale that normally resides on everyone’s scalp.

Pityrosporum constitutes the major part of skin flora. You suffer from dandruff when the normal limit of 46% of Pityrosporum increases up to the 74% mark.

Factors like emotional and physical stress are no less important in triggering dandruff growth. Stress management also improves the scalp condition. Dandruff growth increases during winter compared to summer for most people.

Because you can find tons of products and medicated lotions, you
do not need to worry about the dandruff problem. You just need
to find the remedy that works for you.

If you suffer from mild dandruff, wash your scalp regularly
to remove the excess flakes. If you suffer from stubborn flakes,
treatment through a medicated shampoo is the answer.

You can use many natural remedies to treat dandruff. You need to
try some to see what works for you.

You can even treat dandruff by using essential oils and herbs. If you do not mind long-term treatments, you can opt for the various home remedies. A mixture of coconut oil and lemon juice is equally effective as treatment with apple cider vinegar.

Natural remedies take time to show any visible results and need
consistent use but they are effective in addressing the cause. If you want a speedy control, use shampoos containing ketaconazole.

Avoid using shampoos with harsh chemicals if you have a bruised
scalp. Applying shampoos containing such chemicals on broken skin may cause irritation. If a particular product shows no results, try another with a different ingredient base.

Washing your hair regularly is important. If you find that washing your hair gives you frizzy or dry ends, the little secret to handle that is to take some conditioner and add it to the ends of your hair before washing it normally. Then condition it after shampooing, if you like to use conditioner.

One way to stop over-conditioning your hair and save you money is to put a little of your favorite brand of conditioner in a spritz bottle, with about 4 times more water. After shampooing, rinse. Towel dry, then spritz the conditioner in.

Another mistake that many people make is to put gel in their hair. It’s okay to put gel in your hair if that is your styling preference. But, it builds up and causes flakes, which many think is dandruff.

Get into the habit of washing your hair more often. It’s only the start of getting rid of dandruff. Think about it. If all that was required was just washing your hair more often, there would be no dandruff.

Hair color correction is a big money maker in salons nationwide. The reason: over-the-counter hair coloring products have given consumers the impression that hair color is easy and extremely affordable. One look at a professionally-colored model on a commercial or glossy magazine page, and many people clamor to the closest drug store to purchase a $5 box of color with the hopes of receiving a $50 salon look.

The results are often disastrous, and it can take hundreds of dollars to correct a hair color problem that could have been prevented with just a tiny bit of knowledge and planning.

The most common problem seen with hair coloring at home and in salons is choosing a hair color that is too light for the natural shade of hair. Realistically, color can only lighten hair beautifully by a few shades. If you go any lighter than a few shades, you need to choose a high-lift product such as bleach or a professional highlighting system. Failure to do this often results in hair color that is much too brassy or even orange.

Word to the wise: high-lift hair coloring should only be performed by professionals. The controlled chemicals used in the process, if used incorrectly, can result in irreparable damage and/or chemical burns on the scalp and skin.

Another hair color mistake that is seen quite often is choosing a color that is too dark. Extremely dark hair color can be the most challenging to correct because dark color can actually stain the cortex (inner layer) of the hair, making it almost impossible to lighten. Again, avoid choosing hair colors that are more than a few shades darker than your own to prevent a costly cortex stain.

When it comes to choosing the right shade of hair color to use, pick tones and shades that flatter your skin tone. Choose warm shade of hair color (reds and warm browns) if you look best in warm-colored clothing such as reds, pinks and oranges. Choose a cool shade (beige, pale blonde highlights and neutral colors) if you look best in blues and greens.

As you can see, just a little bid of planning and knowledge can save you from costly hair coloring disasters. And by making an informed decision before you purchase hair color, you will not only save money, you will also save your hair from needless damage.

Hair color is a chemical, and every time you chemically process your hair, you damage it to some extent. The damage can be minimal, as is usually the case with high-end professional hair coloring systems, or can be extreme. And each time you use hair color to correct a problem, you are damaging your hair even more.

Here are just a few tell-tale signs that your hair has been over processed with hair color and other chemicals.

” The hair is limp and dull, and no amount of styling can bring back its luster and bounce.
” The hair color has faded dramatically, and you are left with brassy and banded hair color. (Banded hair color is evident by the sudden change of hair color along the hair shaft. For example: the hair may be dark until about 2″ from the scalp where it turns a brassy orange.)
” The hair is extremely dry and brittle. When it is wet, it is almost impossible to comb it without causing breakage.

You can avoid damage to your hair caused by hair coloring by taking the same precautions recommended for choosing the right hair color. Choosing the right hair color reduces the amount of color applications, therefore, reducing the chances of your hair becoming over processed.

The Adirondack chair is unlike any other chair every made. First designed by Thomas Lee in the early 1900s, this chair is amazingly comfortable, very affordable, and a chair that could easily be used for indoor furniture or outdoors by the pool or perhaps on the deck or patio. The overall design of this chair is so unique and interesting. Although there are many great aspects of the Adirondack chair, the favorites include the deep seat, curved back that wraps around the body, and the wide armrests, perfects for holding a favorite drink or providing a place to set a book.

Even though the price of the adirondack chair may seem a little higher than other furniture, remember you are buying a handcrafted chair that is made with the finest materials. Therefore, when cared for properly, the Adirondack chair will last for years. Therefore, the chair is well worth the investment. Keep in mind that you can do a few things to keep your Adirondack chair in tip top shape.

First, make sure you buy your Adirondack chair from a reputable manufacturer and retailer such as AdirondackChairs-Store.com. With this, you know with 100% confidence you are buying a handcrafted chair of top material by top experts. Generally, the best option for wood is Western red cedar, which is highly weather resistant and therefore, and excellent choice for outdoor use. The Adirondack chair is also dimensionally stable, and if you choose to paint it, you will find it wears well. Therefore, your first step is to buy quality.

Remember that the way in which you care for your adirondack chair will depend on several factors such as the temperature, humidity level, precipitation, how the chair is used, and so on. Additionally, you will need to decide the look you want for your Adirondack chair, which will affect the way in which it is cared for. As an example, if you prefer the weathered look, then you would leave the chair outside so it is exposed to the elements. The result will be a natural appearance that is kind of rustic. On the other hand, you might want a chair that is sleeker, newer looking. For this, you can choose to have the chair painted or stained.

If your Adirondack chair is left unpainted and should be covered with mold and mildew, a power washer would be an excellent way to clean it. Just remember to use the right size nozzle so the pressure is not so hard that the wood becomes damaged. If you do not have a power washer, you can use good, old-fashioned soap and water, brushing the mold and mildew off with a soft brush. When you have finished washing the chair, allow it to dry completely. Then, add a protective coat with something like polyurethane. This way, you will not have to deal with the problem again.

Adirondack chairs will also need to be cared for during the cold, winter months. In most cases, you would wash the chair off and dry it well. Then you could set it inside in the basement, garage, or perhaps even use it indoors. If you decide to store it, simply place a plastic tarp over the chair to keep it clean. With a little common sense and cleaning, you do not have to do much to an Adirondack chair, thus another benefit.

Helping With Your Hair Loss

One of our daily problems is the hair loss. Till now there is no cure for the hair loss, but the science is trying to find a way. Can appear at any age and have different causes.
It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle. However, some people may experience excessive (more than normal) hair loss. Hair loss of this type can affect men, women and children.

One of the causes of the hair loss is a recent surgical operation, an illness which needed to be treated with medicines. Some illnesses like gout, some types of cancer (which need chemotherapy) are usually associated with the hair loss. A similar effect can appear when one has made an excess of A vitamin, antidepressant or contraceptive pills. All hair loss stops when you quit taking those medicines.

Some hormonal problems like pregnancy may cause some falls of hair, but this is not for a very long time. Once the level of the hormones has stabilized the hair loss stops. If your thyroid gland is overactive or under active, your hair may fall out.
Usually the hair loss is a reaction of the body to certain modifications. Is the way he it tells us that something is not right.

Some fungal infections of the scalp may cause hair loss, but this is a reversible process. The well known baldness is men’s usually hair loss. It can happen at some time depending on some effects like: environment, stress, hormones.

There is no treatment for the hair loss but it can be prevented by being careful to the diet, medicines we take, any illness and specially the way we take care of it(how we wash it).

Everybody hates dandruff. No body likes the falling white flakes and the itching scalp. we all try many shampoos and treatments, both natural and chemical to get rid of dandruff. I want to ask many of you who suffer dandruff- how are you sure that you are having dandruff? Unless a doctor diagnosed it as dandruff, how can any one be sure that he/she is suffering dandruff if it is not clearing after many washes? May be you are suffering from something else? Let us look at the other problems that may confuse you.

Dandruff and other scalp problems-

There are many scalp problems that itch and produce scales and white flakes. Psoriasis is one of the tough ones. Unless you get it diagnosed and get treated it will not go away. Many cosmetic applications may cause allergic dermatitis or irritant contact dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis or commonly called eczema can also appear on the scalp. Seborrheic dermatitis is one of the common scalp problems that mimic dandruff.

What is dandruff?

In dandruff what we see as white flakes are skin cells. Our skin regenerates itself every month. The new cells travel from the bottom of the skin layer to the top in a month and the dead cells are shed. These are so microscopic and small in quantity that we don’t notice this shedding of cells. In dandruff this shedding increases. That is how these dead cells with skin oils form white flakes and we can see them.

Dandruff and diagnosis-

If you are not able to get rid of dandruff after trying many formulas, it is time that you visit a doctor and get the proper diagnosis done. Once you are sure that it is dandruff, you can take proper measures and get a shiny scalp.

How To Give The Perfect Dog Bath

Most pet owners do not think twice about spending big dollars to buy their dog
premium dog food, the best health care or even blissful days at a doggie day care
facility. Most pet owners also don’t think twice when it’s time to give Bowser a bath.
Grab the Head and Shoulders and fire up the backyard garden hose. But lets give it
a bit more thought than that.

But a proper dog bath is key to maintaining your pet’s vigorous good health. The
skin is the body’s largest organ and a perfect dog bath is key to stimulating blood
circulation and keeping the skin healthy. Improper bathing can cause a matted
condition in the coat which is uncomfortable to your dog. The first step in the
perfect dog bath is a good brushing.

For short-haired dogs brush in a circular motion with a curry comb made of
rubber with teeth cut into the edges. It will pull the dead coat out. Slicker brushes
will take out the dead undercoat. Start on the legs and hold the outer hair so that
you can brush from the skin outward. If it is not removed, the coat will easily mat.
Use this technique all over the dog - legs, body and tail. Dogs resent the tail being
brushed so save it for last. For fine-haired dogs use a natural bristle brush. Moisten
the area to be worked with a good coat conditioner.

For long-haired dogs use a pin brush if the coat is not tangled, a slicker brush if
the coat is tangled. Start at the legs, again brushing from the skin out and brushing
only a few hairs at a time. The secret to thorough brushing is to brush only a few
hairs at a time. Check each area with a comb; if the comb goes through without
stress continue all the way up to the middle of the dog’s back. Go to the loin area
and to the back legs; then move to each side of the back of the dog.

You are now ready to wash. Never use human shampoos to wash your dog. Dog
shampoos are specially formulated to match the pH level of a dog’s skin. Human
shampoos can strip a dog’s coat of essential oils. The right way to bathe a dog is
determined by the texture and length of the coat. Short-haired dogs are washed
with a vigorous circular motion which will pull out the dirt. On dogs with a medium-
length coast, use a back-and-forth motion. As the hair gets longer, go only in the
direction the hair grows.

Step 1. Rinse the dog completely.

Step 2. Apply the shampoo along the back, working up as much lather as possible;
do the same with the belly, legs and tail.

Step 3. Rinse the coat with one hand to run water on the dog and the other hand in
a kneading fashion to work the soap out. Make certain all the soap is out as dried
soap will dull a coat and cause skin problems.

Step 4. Before towel-drying, squeeze as much water out of the coat as possible by
pulling the hair straight out and squeezing at the same time.

Step 5. Use a washcloth to clean the dog’s face and avoid getting water in his ears.
Moisture inside the ears provides the conditions for fungus infections.

Step 6. Towel dry your dog and use a hand-held hair dryer on thick-coated dogs
but never use a human hair dryer as they run too hot and can burn the dog and
damage the coat.

Voila! A clean, healthy dog.

PART 1

Very much a highlighted news topic, the stem cell research controversy continues. Reasons for the “need” of research include possible help for persons with terminal cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuryand hair loss.

Hair loss is an important subject for the many men and women who experience it. The careless remarks and gratuitous jokes about baldness made by people with full heads of hair only add to their humiliation. Some people even experience anger that their hairline threatens to become as receded as the waters of the Red Sea for the Hebrews so many years ago.

Countless people wonder whether or not there really exists a cure for hair loss. Before we answer that question, we should first answer the questions, “What is hair loss?” and “What causes it?”

What is Hair Loss?

The term “Alopecia,” more commonly known as “baldness,” includes various disorders that involve the lack of hair where it would normally grow; especially when it involves the head. The most common form of baldness is a progressive hair-thinning condition that occurs in some adults.

Each piece of hair has a follicle located at the end of the hair shaft. Follicles act as the hair’s incubator;” it is where the hair is produced. Each strand of hair has a matrix, located at the base of the follicle. Cells in this area produce keratin, a tough protein that makes up the hair shaft, and melanin. Melanin stains the keratin, giving hair its color.

The activity of each follicle is dependant on surrounding follicles. Healthy hair follicles continuously grow. About 85% of the hair follicles on a healthy scalp are actively growing at the same time, and hair loss is not a problem.

Each strand of hair continues to grow for about 4 years, before going into a dormant period of about 4 months. On an average, only about 15% of the total amount of hair follicles on a healthy scalp is dormant at any one time. It is when a higher percentage of hair follicles stop growing at one time that hair loss becomes a problem.

What Happens During Hair Loss

Follicles are nourished by a network of capillaries, bringing nutrients to the base of the follicle. The amount of blood available to the scalp and to the follicles is determined by the health of the capillaries in the scalp, as well as the arteries in the neck and temple.

Problems develop when hair follicles do not receive proper nourishment. For instance, some women experience noticeable hair thinning after menopause, after the production of estrogen slows down or stops. Hair loss in women is usually more diffuse then in men. Women seldom have bold spots; a large area of the head may show sparse hair growth instead. Only about 15% of women are afflicted by such a high degree of hair loss that it becomes obvious.

In men the hormone DHT can harm hair follicles, making them shrink, or cause them to prematurely enter into the resting stage of the hair cycle. When this happens the result is often the characteristic U-shaped pattern of hair loss at the top of the head.

What Causes Hair Loss?

Predisposition can be one factor as to why one person begins losing their hair as they age, while another person does not. Various other disorders, such as obesity, allergies, and diabetes can also be attributed to predisposition. Sometimes hair loss can be the result of side effects caused by certain prescription drugs. Of course, these factors can often be countered.

Where you may not be able to reverse predisposition, you can sometimes contain it. By changing lifestyle, maintaining a customized healthcare regimen, and eating a well-balanced diet, many such factors can be alleviated or turned around.

More about Hair Loss

When it comes counteracting or slowing down the process of hair loss, products such as Rogaine, Dutasteride, and Propecia can help. Scalp exercises and massages using special preparations can also help.

Telogen Effluvium (TE) is a type of hair loss more common in women then men. It is characterized by high numbers of hairs that enter into the resting stage of the hair cycle, all at one time. This usually causes profuse shedding, as opposed to bald patches. This can be an overwhelming experience for women, especially those who once had luxuriant hair.

TE can be brought on by prolonged emotional or physical stress, severe illness, post-pregnancy hormone changes, or crash dieting. Once the triggering factor has been removed, TE hair loss usually stops. Hair can grow back in even without treatment, usually in 6 months to a year.

With proper treatment, hair growth can be accelerated. Some professionals recommend bringing the level of iron stored in the body up to 70 or 80 ng/ml (nanograms per milliliter). The range of iron normally stored in a woman’s body might be between 12 - 50; the lower end not high enough to speed hair growth.

Rogaine can also be used for a few months to start the TE recovery process; once hair does begin to grow back in, Rogaine use can stop.

As mentioned earlier, crash dieting can trigger TE in both men and women. As a matter of fact, diets of less than 1,200 calories a day can trigger sudden hair loss. This is especially true of diets low in protein. When the body lacks proper protein it “borrows” by shifting healthy hairs into dormancy to conserve protein.

Although hair loss resulting from inadequate diets is most often temporary, it can result in permanent loss of hair in persons genetically predetermined towards hair loss. Also, extreme weight loss in men can increase the production of androgens - male sex hormones that kill hair follicles. Once hair follicles are destroyed, there can be no re-growth of hair.
